We are here to help you from the start until your tax return is completed. We will talk to you about your situation and work out what kind of information we’re going to need from you to work on your self assessment tax return. We are here to answer any questions you may have and we are always at the end of the phone should you need us.
In order to work on your tax return we’re going to need to get some information from you. We will explain everything on the phone as the information that we need will depend on your individual situation. It’s up to you how you send this information to us. Some clients choose to send it over by email and some send us documents in the post. We’ll work in the way that suits you!
Once we have all the information, we will go to work. We look through everything you have given to us and let you know how long the preparation time will take. We have years of experience to make sure that your self assessment is correct and investigate if there is anything else you could include on the tax return. We may come back to you during this process if we have any questions.
When we’re all done with our work we’ll email over your completed tax return for you to check through. You’ll need to look through it very carefully as this is what we will be submitting online to HMRC. If there is anything you are unsure of or you think needs changing just discuss it with your tax manager and they’ll sort it out for you.
If you’re happy with the completed tax return we will ask you to sign our client declaration form. Once this is done we will then get everything submitted to HMRC and let you know that it’s all gone. After this we will invoice you for the work carried out. You can then sit back, relax and forget about your tax for another year!
